Greater Rockridge NCPC Needs a Vice Chair

The Greater Rockridge Neighborhood Crime Prevention Council (NCPC) needs a Vice Chair. We’re now back to hybrid meetings (in person and Zoom), which means someone has to be in the room to run the meeting. We meet at 7:00 PM on the second Thursday of even-numbered months. Meetings usually last 1.5 – 2 hours. Our bylaws say:
Chair: The Chair will run both the community meetings and meetings of the Steering Committee, and will represent the NCPC in other community meetings. The Chair may delegate specific areas of responsibility to the Vice Chair.
Vice Chair: The Vice Chair will assist the Chair as needed.

In 2019, due to changes in the old Yahoo Groups, the NCPC moved it's email message boards from Yahoo Groups to Groups.io. Over the years we have added a second board. The message boards are now:
Rockridge Neighborhood Watch Network (political discussions allowed)
RockridgeNCPC (political discussions discouraged)

- 7:10 – 7:30 PM – Oakland Police Dept. (OPD) Status Reports, beats 12Y and 13X
- 7:30 – 7:45 PM – Kylah Staley, Neighborhood Law Corps attorney for 12Y/13X, will introduce herself and explain the Neighborhood Law Corps.
- 7:45 – 8:15 PM – Damon Manni, a neighbor, will present on his Lighthouse Project, for Oakland safety.
