What beat do I live in?

Ever wonder what police beat you live in?  How do you find out?  Thanks to the coders at OpenOakland, you can now enter your address at Find your beat:Oakland and the app will display the beat you live in.  We've added this web site to our list of Important Websites

New Crime Maps on Google

Beginning in 2013, the NCPC has created Google maps showing all the crimes reported in our beats, 12Y and 13X, for one quarter at a time.  Click on the links below to see your beat map:

12Y 1Q13

13X 1Q13

As new maps are created we will post new links.  Thanks to Frank Castro, whose idea this was and who is doing the work.  Data for these listings comes from the weekly list of reported crimes posted by Oakland Police Department.
