The Greater Rockridge Neighborhood Crime Prevention Council (NCPC) needs a Vice Chair.  We’re now back to hybrid meetings (in person and Zoom), which means someone has to be in the room to run the meeting.  We meet at 7:00 PM on the second Thursday of even-numbered months.  Meetings usually last 1.5 – 2 hours.  Our bylaws say:

Chair: The Chair will run both the community meetings and meetings of the Steering Committee, and will represent the NCPC in other community meetings. The Chair may delegate specific areas of responsibility to the Vice Chair.
Vice Chair: The Vice Chair will assist the Chair as needed.

If you would be interested in serving on this committee, which has been operating continuously since 2002, when Oakland established its Community Policing Program, please email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
