Wherever the car burglars were in June and July, they’re back in Greater Rockridge.  Fortunately, crimes against the person and quality of life crimes declined slightly into August in beat 12Y, and property crimes dropped from 19 to 11, but auto-related crimes rose from 26 to 30.  In beat 13X, both types of property crimes increased, from 3 to 7 for ordinary theft and from 2 to 6 for auto-related crime.  Crimes against the person were flat in 13X and quality of life crimes decreased slightly.
