The monthly crime statistics for August 2021, for beats 12Y and 13X, are now available on http://rockridgencpc.com,  under Resources > Crime Stats and Maps > Rockridge Crime Trends 2021-2022.  Here’s a direct link to the page:

Beat 12Y saw increases in Property Crime (from 13 to 18), Auto-Related Property Crime (20 to 36, 80% increase), and Quality of Life Crimes (16 to 24, 50% increase).  Most of the auto-related crime was auto break-ins; we haven’t seen more than 30 auto break-ins in a month since March 2020.  Most of the quality of life crimes were vandalism.  Crime in beat 13X didn’t increase much if at all in any category, maximum incidents in any category was 5.  We had a collection of incidents in the Other category which appear to be related to the arrest of a felon carrying and firing an illegal firearm, but there’s no sign that it was a personal attack.

Beat 12Y had one incident which involved 3 separate charges in 2 categories:  criminal threats with intent to terrorize and battery (both in Crimes Against the Person) and cruelty to animal in Quality of Life.
