The monthly crime statistics for beats 12Y and 13X, covering November 2022 and October 2022 (revised 12/5/22), are now available on http://rockridgencpc.com, under Resources > Crime Stats and Maps > Rockridge Crime Trends 2021-2022.  Here’s a direct link to the page:

Here are direct links to the 2 reports:

Crime Stats October 2022 (revised)   https://tinyurl.com/2n5zyt2o

Crime Stats November 2022  https://tinyurl.com/3feju5n6

The November report, a first report, includes more crimes than we’ve recently seen – 69 incidents, 53 in beat 12Y and 16 in beat 13X.  There were 12 crimes against the person in 12Y, a high for 2022.  Three of those incidents, plus 2 other related weapons charges, all took place at the same time on November 20 – see the report of Incident with Multiple Charges.  Property crimes, and auto-related property crimes, were there as usual – see the report header for details.  I am suspicious of the fact that 13X had no reports of quality of life crimes in November – which means no vandalism.  I’ll be interested to see what the January download shows.

The revised October report shows the usual increases – and one decrease.  The original October download showed 2 crimes against the person in 13X; the revised download had only one.  I checked, and the missing report was at the North Oakland Regional Sports Center, which is in beat 13Y.  The original October report showed a total of 44 incidents – the December download shows 77, 60 in beat 12Y and 17 in 13X.  As usual, both types of property crimes increased considerably in both beats – see the report header for details.  There was no change in the incidents with multiple charges between the 2 reports.  We always upload both original and revised reports to our web site, so if you want to compare, you can open both of them up.
