In view of the coronavirus pandemic, and the emergency declarations from the local to the national level, the Greater Rockridge Neighborhood Crime Prevention Council is cancelling its April 9, 2020 in-person meeting. The meeting was to be at The College Preparatory School, which has moved to a distance learning program and is now restricting the use of the campus by external visitors.
We are investigating the possibility of having a virtual meeting, for residents who have the facilities to do that. This is so people could attend the meeting without attending a public group in a (usually) small room. If we can organize it we will notify people using our email groups (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) as well as Nextdoor announcements. If you don’t have a userid on either of our email groups we encourage you to join, as we monitor everything posted there, as well as using them for announcements. We will also post status on our web page, RockridgeNCPC.com (https://rockridgencpc.com), and on the NCPC’s Facebook page.
Our next regular meeting would be on June 11, 2020, but in view of the COVID-19 pandemic, we don't yet know whether it will be feasible to hold it. Watch this space, and NextDoor, and our email groups.
Upcoming 2021-2022 Meetings
We expect meetings to be virtual, using Zoom, until further notice, depending on the course of the pandemic.
