In 2019, due to changes in the old Yahoo Groups, the NCPC moved it's email message boards from Yahoo Groups to Groups.io. Over the years we have added a second board. The message boards are now:
Rockridge Neighborhood Watch Network (political discussions allowed)
RockridgeNCPC (political discussions discouraged)

Don't Pick Up Needles!

We wish we didn't find used hypodermic needles on the sidewalk when we walk around Rockridge; but sometimes we do. The urge to keep the neighborhood clean is strong, but DON'T pick the needles up! If you see loose needles lying around, call the Oakland Fire Department Hazmat unit at 510-444-3322. They will come out and clean up the needles.
Report abandoned vehicles to 311

The process for reporting abandoned automobiles has changed. Citizens can report abandoned vehicles online at : https://www.oaklandca.gov/services/oak311 or they can download OAK 311 app to their phones via the App store for Apple devices or Google Play for Android devices. The SeeClickFix app (for Android or Apple devices) can also still be used.
