In view of the coronavirus pandemic, and the emergency declarations from the local to the national level, the Greater Rockridge Neighborhood Crime Prevention Council is cancelling its April 9, 2020 in-person meeting. The meeting was to be at The College Preparatory School, which has moved to a distance learning program and is now restricting the use of the campus by external visitors.
We are investigating the possibility of having a virtual meeting, for residents who have the facilities to do that. This is so people could attend the meeting without attending a public group in a (usually) small room. If we can organize it we will notify people using our email groups (
Our next regular meeting would be on June 11, 2020, but in view of the COVID-19 pandemic, we don't yet know whether it will be feasible to hold it. Watch this space, and NextDoor, and our email groups.
