When Crime Occurs

Report a crimeIf you see a crime in progress, call the police!

Only call 911 from a land line!

From a cell phone call 777-3211 which routes directly to OPD dispatch.

For MEDICAL OR FIRE EMERGENCIES ONLY, you can call the Fire Department directly at 510-444-1616.

To report a crime that has already happened, call the non-emergency number 777-3333, or fill in OPD's Online Crime Reporting form. You'll find the link on their Report a Crime page.

Next NCPC Meeting

The Greater Rockridge NCPC meets on the 2nd Thursday of even numbered months: February, April, June, August, October, and December.

Our next meeting is on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 7:00 PM. Location will probably be Zoom, TBA.

what policing area you're in,
what beat you're in,
the name and meeting address of the local NCPC,
dates and times of the meetings,
the name and email of the Neighborhood Services Coordinator (NSC)

Crime statistics

The monthly crime statistics for beats 12Y and 13X are now available on the NCPC web site, covering dates from January - October 2014. We'll post the November statistics as soon as we can be sure all the numbers are up; it usually takes 2-3 days to get an incident into the database. You can find the back files on our page Rockridge Crime Trends 2010 - 2014.

I've just updated the page Rockridge Crime Trends 2010-2014 with the statistics for August, September, and October 2014. In future I'll try to make sure these are updated every month.
